Bruno IQ Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Filibruno LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as Bruno IQ (“Bruno IQ,” “Bruno,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information through the Bruno IQ platform.
Bruno IQ is an AI-powered hiring intelligence platform used by employers to help evaluate applicants. Bruno IQ may screen application materials, conduct structured interviews, analyze applicant information, and generate scores, summaries, evaluations, and other hiring intelligence for human reviewers.
Bruno IQ does not make hiring decisions. The employer using Bruno IQ remains responsible for deciding whether an applicant advances, is interviewed, is rejected, receives an offer, or is hired.
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- employers, administrators, and team members who use a Bruno IQ workspace (“Workspace Users”); and
- individuals who apply for employment through a hiring process that uses Bruno IQ (“Candidates”).
1. Information We Collect
Workspace User Information
When a business creates or uses a Bruno IQ account, we may collect information such as:
- name;
- business email address;
- telephone number;
- company name;
- business location;
- job title;
- account credentials;
- subscription and plan information;
- billing and transaction information;
- roles, hiring criteria, job descriptions, and other materials submitted to Bruno IQ;
- communications with Bruno IQ; and
- account activity.
Payment information may be processed by third-party payment processors. Bruno IQ does not necessarily receive or store complete payment card information.
Candidate Information
When a Candidate applies through Bruno IQ, we may collect and process information such as:
- name;
- email address and other contact information;
- resume;
- employment history;
- education;
- qualifications;
- application information;
- written screening responses;
- interview responses;
- audio recordings, if the Candidate chooses an audio interview;
- video and audio recordings, if the Candidate chooses a video interview;
- interview transcripts;
- communications associated with the application; and
- other information the Candidate submits during the hiring process.
Not every Candidate provides every category of information.
Where an alternative screening option is available, a Candidate may be able to proceed without participating in an audio or video interview.
Information Generated Through Bruno IQ
Bruno IQ may generate information based on Candidate materials, including:
- scores;
- evaluations;
- summaries;
- interview analysis;
- transcripts;
- comparisons;
- identified strengths;
- identified concerns or inconsistencies;
- hiring intelligence; and
- other analysis associated with the Candidate's application.
These outputs are provided to human reviewers at the hiring company as decision-support information. They are not hiring decisions made by Bruno IQ.
Technical Information
When someone uses Bruno IQ, we may automatically collect technical and usage information such as:
- IP address;
- browser type;
- device information;
- operating system;
- login activity;
- timestamps;
- pages or features accessed;
- diagnostic information; and
- security and fraud-prevention information.
We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Bruno IQ.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information collected through Bruno IQ to:
- provide and operate the Bruno IQ platform;
- process employment applications;
- conduct applicant screening;
- facilitate structured interviews;
- transcribe interview responses;
- analyze application and interview information;
- generate scores, summaries, evaluations, and other hiring intelligence;
- present applicant information to authorized Workspace Users;
- communicate Customer-made application status decisions;
- administer accounts and subscriptions;
- process payments and billing;
- provide customer support;
- maintain and improve platform functionality;
- detect fraud, abuse, and security threats;
- enforce our agreements and platform rules;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- protect the rights, safety, and security of Bruno IQ, our customers, Candidates, and others.
3. Artificial Intelligence and Hiring
Bruno IQ uses artificial intelligence and automated technology to assist employers in evaluating applicant information.
Depending on the hiring workflow and Candidate's selected participation method, AI-assisted processing may analyze information such as:
- resumes;
- application information;
- written responses;
- interview responses;
- transcripts; and
- other job-related information.
Bruno IQ may use this information to generate scores, summaries, evaluations, comparisons, and other hiring intelligence.
Bruno IQ does not automatically hire, advance, or reject Candidates. The hiring company remains responsible for employment decisions.
If Bruno IQ communicates a rejection or other application-status decision to a Candidate, that communication occurs after the hiring company has made the decision and instructed Bruno IQ to communicate it.
4. Audio and Video Interviews
Certain Bruno IQ hiring processes may allow Candidates to participate through audio or video interviews.
Before applicable recording begins, Bruno IQ provides notice that the interview will be recorded and obtains the Candidate's affirmative consent where required by the applicable workflow.
Where an alternative screening option is available, a Candidate who does not wish to participate in audio or video recording may choose the available alternative process.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell Candidate personal information or Workspace User personal information.
Candidate information is made available to the hiring workspace associated with the position for which the Candidate applied.
We may also disclose information to service providers and subprocessors that help us operate Bruno IQ, such as providers supporting:
- cloud hosting and infrastructure;
- artificial intelligence processing;
- audio and video functionality;
- transcription;
- email and communications;
- payment processing;
- analytics;
- customer support;
- cybersecurity; and
- fraud and abuse prevention.
These providers may process information only as appropriate to provide services to Bruno IQ and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- comply with law or legal process;
- respond to lawful government requests;
- investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
- enforce our agreements;
- protect Bruno IQ, our customers, Candidates, or others;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or
- complete or evaluate a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
We do not provide Candidate information to unrelated employers for their independent hiring purposes merely because those employers also use Bruno IQ.
6. AI Model Training
Under our current practices, Bruno IQ does not use identifiable Candidate information or identifiable Customer information to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify a Candidate or Customer for purposes such as:
- analytics;
- benchmarking;
- product development;
- product improvement;
- security;
- research;
- platform performance; and
- understanding hiring trends.
If our practices regarding identifiable information and AI model training materially change in the future, we will update our disclosures and obtain any notices or consents required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention
Candidate Records
While the applicable hiring workspace remains active, Candidate records are retained for 365 days following the hiring company's final decision by default, unless a different available retention period is selected or applicable law requires otherwise.
At the end of the applicable retention period, Candidate information may be deleted or anonymized.
Account Termination
When a Customer's access to Bruno IQ terminates, the Customer may immediately lose access to Candidate and workspace information.
Remaining identifiable Customer and Candidate information may be retained for up to 90 days following termination before being deleted or anonymized from active systems.
Certain information may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for:
- legal compliance;
- accounting;
- fraud prevention;
- security;
- dispute resolution;
- enforcement of agreements; or
- other legitimate legal or business recordkeeping requirements.
Information may also remain temporarily in routine backups until those backups are overwritten or deleted through normal backup processes.
Billing and Business Records
We may retain account, transaction, billing, contractual, and related business records for the period reasonably necessary to satisfy legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping requirements.
8. Data Security
Bruno IQ uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through the platform.
These safeguards may include encryption of information in transit and at rest, access controls, authentication measures, monitoring, and limitations on internal access.
Access to Customer and Candidate information is limited to authorized users and personnel who require access for legitimate purposes such as providing the service, support, security, and abuse prevention.
No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, Bruno IQ cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Candidate Privacy Rights and Requests
Depending on where a Candidate lives, applicable privacy law may provide rights relating to personal information, which may include rights to:
- request access;
- request correction;
- request deletion;
- obtain information about how data is processed; or
- exercise other rights provided by applicable law.
Candidates may contact the hiring company directly regarding their application or submit a privacy request to Bruno IQ at hello@brunoiq.com.
We may need to verify identity before fulfilling certain requests.
Some information may be retained despite a deletion request when retention is permitted or required by law.
10. Customer Responsibilities
Businesses using Bruno IQ are independently responsible for their own hiring practices and for complying with laws applicable to their collection and use of Candidate information.
Customers are responsible for determining whether additional notices, disclosures, consents, accommodations, or alternative procedures are required based on their location, the Candidate's location, the position, or applicable law.
Customers may not use Bruno IQ to unlawfully discriminate against Candidates or intentionally collect information they are legally prohibited from considering.
11. International Processing
Bruno IQ may process information using service providers and infrastructure located in jurisdictions different from the location of the person whose information is being processed.
Where required, Bruno IQ will use appropriate measures for international transfers of personal information.
Bruno IQ currently supports certain international hiring activities involving the Philippines in addition to U.S.-based hiring.
12. Children and Minors
Bruno IQ is designed for employment applicants who are at least eighteen (18) years old.
The platform is not intended to knowingly process employment applications from individuals under eighteen.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Bruno IQ, our technology, or applicable legal requirements change.
When we make material changes, we may provide notice through Bruno IQ, email, or another reasonable method.
The Effective Date at the top identifies the version currently in effect.
